Dr. Elissa Deusner, PT, DPT, CSCS, FDN, received her Bachelor of Science in education & German from Indiana University, and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Florida in 2012. Licensed to practice physical therapy in Florida for over 10 years, she has worked with professional, amateur, and collegiate scholarship athletes, weekend warriors, pickleball, golf, and tennis savants, folks in chronic, debilitating pain, & geriatric populations.

Dr. Deusner grew and managed two outpatient physical therapy practices in St Petersburg, has worked in home health, and skilled nursing rehabilitation facilities. Drawing on her 10+ years of experience, she has developed the mission of St Pete Physio to be a more personal and focused physical therapy practice 100% devoted to patient growth, improvement, and autonomy of movement.
